Rachael Songey is a multimedia artist based in Livermore, California. She received her BFA in Illustration at California State University, East Bay, in May 2026. Her passion is rooted in storytelling, drawing from her childhood and interest in Celtic folklore. Rachael meticulously crafts her work by actualizing different perspectives. She strives to encourage her audience to practice empathy. One of her greatest sources of inspiration comes from the philosophies and music of Fred Rogers. She is dedicated to emulating Rogers’s teachings of self-worth and the drive to understand others through illustration.
